Edinburgh wants to be a cycling city?

When you see pictures like this you really start to wonder if Edinburgh actually wants to be a cycling city? We are told that there isn’t enough space for separated cycle lanes and yet Edinburgh is full of roads like this. Instead of making space to encourage active travel, people are pushed to the sides to allow motorists to break the speed limits.

Quality Bike Corridor?

Edinburgh can change, we must change, to make our city a better place for all to live in.

  1. I agree. I walk up and down the “quality bike corridor” every day and it’s easy to see where straightforward improvements could be made to make the cycling more pleasant and safer. Why won’t the politicians listen to the people?

  2. I hate that bit in the second picture, on Causewayside. It’s such a busy road and I’ve always felt the need for a separate lane there!
